Although the use of flame retardants has played an effective role in fire protection, there has recently been research showing that the abuse of chemical flame retardants has caused serious water and environmental pollution, and is also a threat to human health. Sileather® silicone fabrics are inherently flame resistant thanks to the protective nature of silicone.
